Chief Jon Winters currently serves as the Interim Chief of Police for the Knoxville Police Department (KPD) within Tennessee State Roleplay (TNSRP). Known for his disciplined leadership and commitment to excellence, Chief Winters has established a clear vision for KPD: to be the most respected and professional law enforcement department in TNSRP.
With extensive leadership experience across multiple agencies, including the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), and other major departments.
Chief Winters brings a wealth of operational knowledge and command experience to his role. His approach to policing combines structure, accountability, and a deep respect for teamwork and professionalism.
Under his leadership, KPD is built on two foundational principles:
F.A.M.I.L.Y. – “Forget About Me, I Love You”: promoting unity, humility, and support among all members.
“Winners Win”: a mindset of continuous improvement, competition, and excellence that drives KPD forward.
Chief Winters is a firm believer in the standard:
